Future System Residential

Zero carbon homes.
Viable. Repeatable. Certain.

A precision-manufactured approach to housing registered providers, private housing developers, financially viable, programme-certain and designed to be repeated.

Why Future System Residential

Evidence first. Claims second.

Every claim is backed by how we build. Not aspirational language, structural features of our manufacturing model.

Whole-Life Viability

Zero carbon operational homes reduce running costs for residents and long-term maintenance obligations for providers.

Programme You Can Plan Around

Factory manufacture removes the three things that kill housing programme: weather, sequential trade dependency and labour supply. We give you a handover date at the start of the contract.

Housing Commissioners & Developers

From brief to handover

Six steps that give housing commissioners repeatable, compliant homes — delivered with certainty.

01

Brief & Configuration

We work with you to define the housing mix, unit types, site constraints and planning requirements. Tenure, affordability thresholds and programme all considered from day one. We establish what we are building and confirm deliverability before design begins.

02

Design & Drawings

Detailed drawings and a confirmed specification prepared to your planning and compliance requirements. You review and approve before manufacture begins. Specification locked — no downstream variation that erodes programme or budget certainty.

03

Factory Manufacture

Your homes are precision-manufactured in our Yorkshire facility to a consistent, repeatable standard. Build week confirmed at contract. Quality checks embedded at every stage. Compliant, certifiable and ready for inspection.

04

Site Preparation

While your homes are being manufactured, our delivery partner manages groundworks which include — foundations, drainage, services and access. Both tracks run in parallel, not sequentially. This is how the programme advantage is achieved and maintained.

05

Installation & Fitout

Our delivery partner peepares the site in readiness. Consistent installation across every plot. Minimal site disruption. Repeatable at scale across the full development programme. Fitout starts as soon as the first roof is installed and superstructure installed.

06

Handover

Commissioned, signed off and compliant. Full documentation pack — warranties, O&M manuals, compliance records and certification — provided at handover. Ready for occupation, lettings or sales. On the date agreed at contract.

How We Build

Precision manufacturing applied to affordable housing.

Future System's housing system is designed and manufactured in our UK based factory. Each element is structural, thermally optimised and quality-checked before it leaves the factory.

The result: buildings that meet zero carbon operational standard as a base specification, not as a cost addition, with acoustic and thermal performance that exceeds site-built norms.

Building system Precision-manufactured panel construction
Zero carbon standard System, all units, as standard
Building regulations Full compliance: Part L, Part E, Part M integration
Structural approach Fully structural panel, system
Programme: factory Whole house system produced in days not weeks
Programme: on-site Enabling works managed by our on site partner from infrastructure to completion
Repeatability Designed for consistent quality at scale
Manufacturing base Yorkshire, UK
Our Mission

Traditional build vs. Future System.

The same programme, two very different outcomes. Factory manufacture removes the variables that traditional build cannot control.

Build programme

40 wks → 4 wks

Time-related cost reduction

90%

Lower embodied carbon

70–80%

Lower energy bills

90%

Waste reduction

60%

A typical home built traditionally takes 40 weeks to construct. Delay and cost overruns are commonplace and defects the norm. It doesn't need to be this way. Through leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques alongside AI to allow flexibility and speed, the average time to construct a house can be reduced to 4 weeks. This changes the economics of construction, reducing 90% of time-related costs including finance.

FutureSystem's precision-engineered building system deliver Passivhaus-principal buildings with 70–80% lower embodied and operational carbon than traditional construction. Occupants enjoy 90% lower energy bills and guaranteed thermal performance.

By moving construction into controlled factory environments, waste is reduced by 60% and consistent quality impossible to achieve on traditional building sites becomes the norm. FutureSystem's automated processing and precision assembly creates buildings in weeks, not months.

The Problem:
A construction industry in crisis

Climate Emergency

Buildings generate 40% of global carbon emissions, yet the UK housing sector remains locked into carbon-intensive traditional methods while facing mounting pressure to deliver net-zero buildings.

Innovation Desert

Construction has <1% R&D investment compared to 15%+ in other sectors. Productivity has flatlined for a decade while costs soar and quality suffers.

Manufacturing Gap

Unlike every other consumer product, buildings are still hand-built on-site by different trades in unpredictable weather conditions. This outdated approach creates delays, defects, and massive waste while failing to deliver the performance standards modern occupants need.

Skills Crisis

Traditional trades face severe labor shortages while younger workers seek careers in modern, technology-driven industries. The industry's reluctance to industrialise is making the building shortage worse.

Housing Shortage

The UK needs 300,000+ new homes annually but consistently underdelivers, with a backlog of 4+ million homes needed.

The Opportunity

These systemic failures create an urgent need for manufacturing-led construction that delivers superior buildings faster, with guaranteed performance and dramatically lower carbon impact.

The Solution:
FutureSystem

Factory-Built Performance

Advanced manufacturing and technology delivers Passivhaus-certified homes with factory quality.

Scalable Production Platform

Our standardised manufacturing systems and processes enable rapid expansion across multiple sites and regions all while maintaining quality and reducing costs through volume efficiencies.

Market Transformation

We're not just building better buildings — we're creating a new manufacturing category that makes zero-carbon buildings inevitable. Our proven systems demonstrate that sustainable construction can be faster, cheaper, and better than traditional methods.

Sustainability Leadership

We control the entire value chain from material sourcing to final assembly, enabling continuous improvement in carbon performance. This means 70–80% better building energy performance and embodied carbon.

Cost Savings Through Technology

  • •AI-driven design and engineering: Automated systems reduce design and engineering costs by ~5%.
  • •Economies of scale: Volume purchasing and standardised product development drive material cost reductions.
  • •Innovation advantages: BIPV integration as standard cladding component (energy generation + building envelope) and mycelium-based products for internal finishes.

Client Questions

The questions we are asked the most.

We are an experienced team that has developed over 500 homes over a 10 year period, due to demandFuture System Group was established as a standalone option. We invite you to visit our factory and assess our capability, our manufacturing process and our quality control directly. The best answer to this question is: come and see how we build.

The same but with significantly lower whole-life cost. Zero carbon operational standard reduces resident energy bills and long-term provider maintenance obligations. We model this on a scheme-by-scheme basis; request a feasibility study and we'll produce a cost comparison for your specific project, at no cost or obligation.

We build to passive house prinipals.

Factory manufacture is designed to identify and resolve issues before the building leaves the facility, not after installation. Quality checks are embedded at every manufacturing stage. This is precisely why factory build gives better programme certainty than site build: problems are caught and resolved in a controlled environment, not discovered on site. Less burden on you and more control of the outcome.
